901am was created with the aim of “delivering new media news every morning” (hence “9:01 a.m.”).

Originally starting as an offshoot of the Blog Herald, 901am expanded to other new media realms not covered by blogging news, including social networking, social bookmarking, viral marketing, multimedia, and the like.
